Dr. España is a neurosurgeon of basic training at the University of Antioquia in Colombia, conducted fellow studies in spinal and spine surgery in the center of high medical complexity in Mexico, hospital of paraplegics of Toledo in Spain, hospital of clinics in Buenos Aires Argentina and two Clinics in São Paulo Brazil.

He has 12 years of experience in managing lumbar, cervical and dorsal spinal pain with different techniques, especially in the management of spinal hernias and pain derived from degenerations of the Inter vertebral disc, being an expert in Latin America doing intradiscal ozone management and Pioneer in America in the use of Intradiscal stem cells (within the spinal disc) and intrafacetary (within the spinal joints) for the management of degenerative diseases of these structures either by trauma or aging.

He is an expert in the management of patients with spinal cord injury, a member of the World Association of spinal cord injuries, where he is at the forefront of comprehensive management and research studies in the active search for the recovery of mobility of n patients with these diseases.

He is an Educational Advisor of AO SPINE, the most important medical society of spine surgeons in the world in which he is active as an international FACULTY, so he is Conferencer in several column congresses of this association.

He is a member of the Word Federation Of Neurosurgery, where he is an active part of the chapter of nerves and spine, being appointed as the president of this chapter of the next world congress of this specialty that will be held in Bogota in 2021.

Doctor graduated from the University of Cartagena, recognized as the best undergraduate medical student at the University of Cartagenta, promotion 2005. With a specialty in Neurosurgery, a degree granted by the University of Antioquia. He has training in the medical and surgical management of spinal and skull traumatic pathology. Fellowship in skull base surgery of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies at the Curitiba Institute of Neurology (Curitiba-Brazil).

Orthopedic physician graduated from the CES University and the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to the treatment of articular and osteomuscular diseases that directly affect daily life (sports trauma, degenerative diseases).

Its publications based on bone metabolism, osteoporosis and sports diseases Report of Results with the Insulin-Type Proximal Rotuliana Realignment Technique and Bodily Injuries in Tibia Fractures Caused in Accidents and its Validation confirm the expertise and interest in the management of said pathologies.

Dr. Velásquez has been an arthroscopy instructor at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, where he has observed with great admiration the multiple advances that medicine has made in recent years, giving much importance to regenerative medicine, the use of platelet-rich plasma, and the use of totipotential cells derived from wharton's gelatin. The implementation of these new techniques translates into a significant improvement in the prognosis, ease of management and results of the aforementioned diseases.

Santiago is a physician graduated from San Martin University with postgraduate studies in Epidemiology in CES University in Medellin.

He has more than 6 years of experience as general practitioner and assistant medical researcher, always focusing on giving his patients a kind and high quality attention.

Santiago arrives to support the outpatient service and to strengthen the research team, assisting the development of research protocols and projects with all the ethical and technical requirements.

Valentina is a physician graduated from Antioquia University. She is currently studying integrative medicine to provide much higher quality care to her patients. In charge of general patient care, special IV drips and therapy administration.

Highly motivated in working with stem cells therapies because of the potential it poses it differentiates other kinds of medicines or procedures being minimally invasive and with good outcomes and ease  of applications.  Really commited to personalized patient attention and results.

Psychologist, with training in Neurosciences. With more than 8 years of experience in individual therapy with children, adolescents and adults, as well as in family and couple therapy.

He has worked in the hospital private sector, in the most renowned clinics of the city of Medellín, in the care of patients with head trauma and spinal cord injury, as well as in the management of mental health programs in the public sector. He has been coordinator of rehabilitation programs for physical disability in patients with spinal cord injury and is a professor in several health faculties of Medellín.

Alexandra is a Professional Nurse, she studied at the University of Antioquia, with more than 3 years of experience in all levels of complexity at hospital units in the city.

She’s a member of our team as an integral professional, with vocation and dedication for Nursing. She stands out for her sensitivity to service, which gives the company a deep commitment to the health care of our patients and their families. Carolina Quintero Gil is a Biologist, she has a MSc in Biology (University of Antioquia) and a PhD in Biotechnology (National University of Colombia). She has more than 10 years of teaching experience (postgraduate and undergraduate) and research in the areas of cell cultures and computational biology, applied to the development of new antiviral treatments based on products of natural origin.

As a BioXcellerator research leader and member of the Biobank's management team, Carolina will assist in the creation of new biotechnology research projects and hopes to create strong cooperative relationships between academia and industry in the future, to generate new knowledge that will help in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

Microbiologist, MSc in Biology, candidate for a PhD in Basic Biomedical Sciences from the University of Antioquia. With 10 years of experience in tissue bank, cell cultures and in vitro and in vivo models. Héctor has conducted several investigations focused on models of antioxidant therapy in human neurons obtained from mesenchymal stem cells extracted from Wharton's gelatin from the umbilical cord for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's. In addition, he has conducted studies in different in vivo models, such as Drosophila melanogaster and Swiss albino mice. He has also worked on the standardization and diagnosis of molecular techniques for hereditary hemochromatosis, ApoE and various mutations in Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, with extensive experience in advanced proteomic management tools, obtaining and studying natural extracts, evaluating antioxidant capacity in vitro free cells, micro cerebral dialysis and specific computer skills for laboratory work. Héctor has complemented his training as a professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences and at the School of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Antioquia. In addition, it has accreditation in good clinical practices, health quality audit and has certification of specific IATA shippers. Additionally, Héctor has experience as a clinical laboratory coordinator for clinical trials.

Héctor joined our team to support the Laboratory & Biobank process as an administrative and research leader, as well as supporting the functions of procurement, separation, expansion and cryopreservation of stem cells and development of research projects in cellular and regenerative therapy.

Microbiologist and Bioanalyst, master’s degree in Basic Biomedical Sciences with emphasis in neurosciences of University of Antioquia. With 3 years of experience in tissue bank and her research focus on models of antioxidative therapy in human neurons obtained from mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of neurodegenerative disease such as Parkinson’s. Also, she had worked in molecular diagnostics of hereditary hemochromatosis. Vanesa has accreditation in ISO policies and quality lab controls.

Vanesa joined our team to support laboratory process of obtaining, separation, expansion and cryopreservation of stem cells and development of cell therapy research projects.

Microbiologist and Bioanalyst of the University of Antioquia, Specialist in Quality Management and Health Auditing of the Cooperativa de Colombia University, with more than 5 years of experience in cell culture management and with training in good laboratory practices. she has joined the team to supports us in the obtaining, maintenance and processing of Mesenchymal Stem Cells.

Bacteriologist and Clinical Laboratorista of the Colegio Mayor de Antioquia. Specialist in Health Services Management of the Cooperativa de Colombia University and Health Audit of the CES University. With more than 15 years of experience in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of Management Systems in areas of Clinical Laboratory, Pathology and Cytology Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Outpatient and Hospital Services. Her experience in the processes of Habilitation, Certification in ISO 9001 standards and Accreditation will contribute to the clinic in the consolidation of processes based on the best quality standards.

Bachelor of Business Administration with Marketing Emphasis from EAFIT university, with a background in international relations, started at the Embassy of Colombia in Belgium, involved with migratory processes, multilateral agreements and diplomatic relations. Experience working with the top management, as well as with the operational team; developing activities as process improvement, financial control, and marketing strategies.

He is an Entrepreneur, Investment Manager and Philanthropist. With more than twenty years of business and executive experience, he has taken on key leadership roles in both public and private companies.  His track record demonstrates a proven success at scaling businesses and increasing shareholder value.

Eric’s experience includes CEO of BioXcellerator Stem Cell Clinics, CEO of Bioscience Americas an investment fund and Director of development for a medical facility in Latin America, Manager of Real Estate Investment Fund acquisitions, as well as CEO of a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust, and the development and expansion of a major U.S restaurant chain.

Eric is the Chairman and Trustee of Solutions for a Healthier World Foundation; a non-profit organization dedicated to treating people suffering from devastating diseases, through the most technologically advanced therapies.

Mr. Stoffers is a member of Toastmaster’s International, The Mankind Project, which is a global network of nonprofit organizations, and attended Northern Arizona University for a degree in Business Administration.

Ms. Godinez joins our team with over 16 years of Marketing and Business Management experience. During her career, she has helped develop companies with the infrastructure and guidance needed allowing them to become successful. Her track record and accomplishments make her an ideal person to help spearhead our patient marketing efforts.

She has Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also certified in Event Planning and holds multiple certifications in graphic designs and digital media. Her abilities allow her to not only create our website, do digital marketing, and collateral materials but also to track and measure the effectiveness of our efforts. Besides she is bilingual (fluent in Spanish), she is an asset to the team and our expansion in Latin America. 

Mathieu joins the team to support the Digital Marketing department of BioXcellerator by creating high quality, strategic and specialized integral content to strengthen the company's positioning and its research in cell therapy.

His profession as Industrial Designer allows the constant renovation and improvement of the workspace and the participation in fairs and events with innovative Stans. its focus on graphic design is a great tool for creating valuable content for the company and clients.

He joins the Digital Marketing department to support the continuous growth of BioXcellerator in the United States and Latin America through Inbound Marketing; His knowledge in English is essential for his work within the company.

With Studies in Human Management and Humanization in Health, she has more than 4 years of experience in user care and appointment programming, she has acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to give the best care to patients and serve as a link between the different areas of the company, providing an integral vision of the organization.
