Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if a stem cell treatment is right for me?

Our team of experts (researchers, doctors, and practitioners) can look at each person’s case and see if there is a course of treatment using stem cells that could offer favorable results.   We believe that stem cells have the power to help many conditions, but not all.  If you want to have a free consultation, go to our patient consultation page to start the process.  It is easy, confidential and gets you answers on if stem cells may be right for you.

What types of conditions can be treated?

Stem cell treatments can work for orthopedic issues, rejuvenation, repair, autoimmune diseases, arthritis and chronic pain.  Each case is personalized so there may be hope that stem cell can offer relief.

Are the bioXcellerator procedures covered by insurance?

Typically, no.  You would have to see if your carrier offers coverage.  However, we do offer financing options for all our procedures.

What is stem cell therapy?

The main function of stem cells is to maintain and repair tissue. Stem cell therapy enhances this natural function by isolating a large number of highly active stem cells which are directed to an area of need within the body.  We have a few modalities of treatment, from infusion to direct injection, depending or your specific case.

When should patients expect to see results?

Talking to one of our doctors is key to determining the potential results.  Your age, diet, and how you care for your body before and after stem cell therapy also makes a huge difference.  It is important to note that we are treating patients with patient-specific protocols; therefore, each treatment and response is unique to that patient.

As with any medical treatment, no guarantee can be made of precisely what results will be achieved or how soon results can be realized. However, many patients report that they begin to experience results within 4 to 8 weeks. In cases where the condition being treated is more severe, the patient may notice results over a longer time frame, and in some cases, may extend to a 6-9-month time frame. It’s not unusual for incremental benefits to extend up to 12 months after initial treatment.

What is regenerative medicine?

The power of your own body and these cells to seek out areas in need and activate the body’s own power to heal is Regenerative Medicine.   Our team has dedicated to using techniques that help you heal yourself.  We believe that the entire medical system will be re-envisioned using stem cell procedures as a core treatment option for many diseases and ailments.

Is the procedure safe?

Yes. It’s extremely safe and has a superb safety profile. We have had between our doctors and researchers nearly 12,000 cases with no issues using PRP and Umbilical Cord Stem Cells (Wharton's jelly), Bone marrow or adipose tissue
